Beta Reader Exchange

You've revised and edited your wonderful manuscript until you're quite certain that everything is perfect. But before sending your stellar query letters to the agents on your list, you might benefit from having a beta reader look it over and offer suggestions. Just because you know exactly what you're trying to say doesn't necessarily equate to the reader understanding your meaning. A beta reader can be a great asset in this area.

With that in mind, I thought it might be beneficial if we had some type of digital connection between those needing a beta reader and those willing to become one.
So here's the plan.

If you're looking for a beta reader, or if you're a willing beta reader, simply leave a comment below this post. Include a brief description of what you're needing. For example: I need a beta reader for a 50K-word middle-grade urban fantasy. If you'd like to offer your service as a beta reader, just post what you're willing to read. Like so: Willing to beta young adult paranormal or sci fi. It's entirely possible the perfect match can be made and you can exchange manuscripts and read for each other. When you comment, if you use the Name/URL option, it will link to your blog or website and allow interested parties to get your contact info.

So what are you waiting for? Start commenting already!
